Are you a young university or college graduate, looking for an opportunity to give back to your community while growing professionally? Then DOT Tanzania brings a unique and exciting opportunity for you!

Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Tanzania seeks to recruit highly competent and self-driven youth for a 12 month internship program that will give the selected Interns a unique opportunity to work with DOT Tanzania to sharpen their skills and prepare for future careers while working within their communities. DOT's key focus is to train young Tanzanian Interns to become business coaches and mentors in their communities, supporting emerging local entrepreneurs. DOT Tanzania recruits and empowers young University graduates (Interns) strengthening their business, technology and coaching skills and deploy them to partner community based organizations to help improve the technology knowledge and business acumen of owners of small businesses that are developing, under stress or in transition in local communities.

Successful Interns will undergo intensive training to prepare them to deliver DOT's ReachUp! Program in the local communities. Throughout their placement, the Interns will also receive professional development opportunities that will equip them with desirable skills to enter the workforce as talented, experienced, and in-demand professionals. They will also join a Global Network of change agents that joins other DOT Interns from other countries; Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Lebanon, Ethiopia, where they will be able to share experiences, lessons and connect with each other through virtual hangouts and DOT communities. Interns will also receive training, mentorship and coaching on how to develop a personal Social Enterprise that will be brought to life by the end of the internship.

Through DOT’s Internship program, Interns are provided a monthly stipend, communication and transport facilitation.

We seek out to recruit Interns residing in the following Regions: Dar es Salaam, Pwani (Kibaha) and Morogoro. Applicants must be university graduates between 2013 and 2015 with not more than 28 years of age.
