JOB PURPOSE
Manage all projects related to MFS corporate strategy while ensuring analytical reports are timely available for strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and drive MFS CoE strategic projects that enhance company growth and profitability.
  • Identify and define potential areas of improvement in the current businesses, including identification of restructuring and re-organization opportunities
  • Continuously assess markets, competitors and competitive change; assessment of technological change and its implications to the MFS Business in Africa
  • Build business models, quantitative models and presentations to Group, Board, CEO and Executive Team
  • Own and deliver on key strategic processes such as Budget process or 5YP process
  • Provide top level analytical and strategic decision support for senior Management
Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional services environment (consulting, banking)
  • Proven track record in developing corporate and business unit strategy, preferably with focus on emerging market’s telecom sector
  • Preferably MBA from a leading University
 ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
  • Good understanding of current international trends in telecommunications (both fixed and mobile), digital services (Internet; E-Commerce), and key strategic priorities of the players in the telecoms and media value chain
  • Fluent in English. French is an added advantage.
