Objectives:
Effective management of Storage and distribution processes for optimized company performance and quality of service
Key Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To supply the requisitioned materials without delay to various stock holding points according to the company laid down procedures. 2. Maintain proper/accurate inventory records in the system, stock records and ledger cards. 3. To conduct regular and Adhoc stock checks and verifications to reduce stock discrepancies. 4. To play custodian role of the store, to protect pilferage, theft, fire and any other risks.
5. To provide information regarding the availability of materials and preparations of various inventory reports as may be required by the store manager or other respective authority for management uses. 6. Arrangement of the Warehouse and stock yard in good manner, cleanliness, labeling of stocks for easy accessibility and identification of stores. 7. To carry out stock taking exercise for Central Warehouse and ensure is conducted as scheduled and in an effective manner. 8. To establish and maintain smooth interfaces and work relations with the PMU and key stakeholders in the Company. 9. Ensure that all the above structures, procedures, processes and instructions associated with TTCL’s requirements of a Quality Management Systems are properly documented and maintained. 10. Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the controlling officer.
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
1 University Degree/Advanced Diploma in Materials Management/ Procurement and Logistics/Supplies management or equivalent qualification. A professional qualification, such as CSP (T) or equivalent qualification recognized by the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB). He/she must be registered as an authorized supplies officer/authorized stock verifier by PSPTB. 2. At least 2 years experience in procurement field. 3. Computer literacy, Strong negotiation skills and ability to work in teams. 4 . Excellent analytical skills and problem identification and solving 5 Ability to meet deadlines
