Dispatcher&Sales POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Dispatcher for ARK Airport Office
• Dispatcher Certificate
• Ticketing Experience
• Excellent English (verbal and writing)



• Welcoming and dispatching the airplane
• Responsible to start and finish Check-In of passengers on time
• Checking the health condition of the passengers
• Ensure passengers are charged Excess Baggage if any and a receipt is issued
• Prepare load and balance sheets
• Responsible for GO-SHOW sales:
1. Checking the passengers Identity card and physical condition in person
2. Putting passenger names into the system
3. Printing/issuing ticket and collecting the cash
4. If Commission applies: filling in petty cash voucher as defined by procedure: Agents name, signature, contact details, booking reference number, signature of zanair staff, Name of Zanair Staff
• Preparing and file all manifests(keep one copy and one for the marshaller)
• Checking all boarding passes against manifests when boarding
• Guiding the passengers to the airplane and making sure safety regulations are followed
• Send MVT OPS Messages immediately after takeoff reporting required data, indicating children and infants e.g. 9 PAX (6 adults+ 2 children+1infant OR 6+2CHD+1INF)
• Making sure safety is kept at all times by staff handling the Aircraft
• Closing sales of the day on the same day and hand in cash to supervisor
• Inform Operations Manager on any Aircraft Issue
• Advice the destination airport if the pilot requires fuel up on arrival
• Making sure flight dispatch is on time, if not:
1. Coordinating possible delay (above 10 minutes) with the pilot and the operations manager
2. Communicate delayed take off to operations manager
3. Final decisions will be taken by operations
4. Inform the passengers


• Confirming dispatch immediately after takeoff to operations and dispatcher of the destination via phone call
• Coordinating with ramps and operations if there are handicapped passengers with special needs e.g. wheelchair
• Sending mailbag to headquarter on the first airplane of the day with all required documents such as sales and petty cash vouchers. If any mailbag gets lost the last person who was in charge of the mailbag will be kept responsible and mailbag needs to be in the manifest and in the MVT OPS Message.
