Internal Auditor POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Roles and Responsibilities
Execute audit tests in compliance with defined audit procedures
Document all the work performed to an agreed standards
Be transparent in your communication with both auditees and your manager.
Develop an understanding of internal and external compliance requirements
Develop critical thinking to identify potential improvements
Develop writing skills in line with the defined guidelines
Contribute to defining workable solutions, guidance on process improvement and best practices
Confirm remediation plans and deadlines with business stakeholders
Requirements
An undergraduate degree in finance, agriculture, Logistics or a field related to One Acre Fund's Activities
Previous professional experience in accounting, agriculture, and/or logistics
Desire to learn new skills and be humble but confident
Proficiency in MS Office required
Good computer, organization, and attention to detail skills
Soft Skills , personal work ethics, honest, discreet and trustworthy
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to encourage a team-based approach
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Swahili(both Orally and in Writing)
Logical mind with the capacity to overcome difficult problems creatively
