Description
Maximise overall customer risk adjusted profitability and share of wallet within portfolio of existing and target customers, existing within agreed customer value propositions and sales process standards. Overall responsibility for achieving budgets and for managing the team.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and grow the existing relationships and acquire new relationships from the market while protecting the Bank's exposure and maximising returns in a manner consistent with Business strategy / Global Account Plans and in compliance with Group and Local Credit Policy. - Provide strategic direction, drive and focus for the team in managing and growing the portfolio. - Provide Career guidance and support for individual team members. Responsible for accuracy of JDs of team members, clear objective setting, on going development feedback, ILDPs etc. -Primarily responsible for driving a cross-sell culture and in up-tiering relationships from plain vanilla banking to more
sophisticated product mix including syndications, fixed income, derivatives etc. -Maintain portfolio credit quality by ensuring regular credit reviews are conducted, monitoring risk concentrations and early identification of problem situations. -Influence service standards/quality of service delivery to customers and the development of new products. -Primarily responsible for ensuring that all AML / CDD/ Compliance related issues are maintained within acceptable parameters.
Qualifications and Skills
University Degree or Professional Qualification in a relevant discipline. Credit Skill Assessment (CSAP) Completion. 7 - 10 years experience in Corporate Banking. Strong Communication and people management skills. Strong financial, analytical and writing skills. Thorough understanding of SCB's Credit Policies. Prior experience in identifying, pitching for and completing Corporate Finance / Structured Trade Finance type deals and in selling foreign exchange related Derivatives, Swaps etc.
