improving their quality of life, and ensuring access to medical and rehabilitative treatment, but crucially, preventing disabilities wherever possible. We’re looking for a dedicated accountant to support our work, based in our Finance department. Are you
the person we’re looking for?

The role
As an accountant at CCBRT, your role will include:

  • Daily reviewing of income statements and balance sheets ledgers in the SAP
  • Proposing adjustments to the financial accountant for errors and corrections
  • Reconciliation of stock valuation report to the general ledgers
  • Recording fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system, and fixed asset disposals and retirements from FAR
  • Running system monthly depreciations, conducting periodic impairment reviews
  • Monthly bank reconciliation for all bank accounts
  • Assisting financial accountant on month end closing, preparation of monthly financial statements and compliance with tax law, including providing supporting documentation for audits
  • Ensuring all expenses and incomes entered in the system daily have donor codes and cost enters
  • Being responsible for recording in the system all donor rebooking from the controlling section

The candidate

Will have:

  • An Advance Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Registry as a Chartered Accountant (CPA, ACA, and ACCA) with NBA
  • Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the related field
  • Adequate knowledge of SAP software
  • Managerial and leadership skills, good communication skills, interpersonal skills
  • Integrity, concern for order, and analytical thinking
  • Ability to working under minimum supervision and good ethical conduct
  • Teamwork skills, numeracy and patient service excellence

wherever possible. We’re looking for a dedicated Cashier to support our work, based in our Finance department. Are you the
person we’re after?

The role

Will include:

  • Registering new patients and updating patients’ profiles
  • Daily authorisation and issuing of claim forms to insurance patients, and daily inputting of authorisation notes in to the system as an approval note to access service by credit patients.
  • Collecting and verifying all returned insurance forms are appropriately filled and signed by patients and doctors
  • Ensuring all services provided to an insurance patients are priced as per approved price list
  • Posting all fully filled out and signed forms into the access system
  • Providing a daily report on all posted forms, ensuring tally with hard copies, while observing accuracy and speed
  • Ensuring confidentiality of patient health status and doing all-round rotation on cash, controlling and billing as required

The candidate

Will have:

  • A Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
  • NBAA – Tanzanian registration is an added advantage
  • 1 year - 18 months’ experience
  • Basic computer knowledge & skills (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Adequate knowledge in the ERP system
  • Being conversant with SAP is an added advantage
  • Concern for order, thoroughness in preparation and patient service excellence
  • Teamwork skills and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Proactive nature and results focused
