Description
A Manufacturing Company is looking for an Agronomist whose responsibilities will include;
1) Working with the local sales team to create demand for the Company product portfolio with farmers by
2) Prepare agronomic support material for the local market in conjunction with the local or marketing manager
3) Conducting local farmer meetings, crop clinics and dealer training
4) Visiting farms to assess their current nutrient status and build crop programs using Company’s products as appropriate.
5) Demonstrate the application of their agronomic knowledge in practical field situations and use it to support the local sales team to help them achieve their goals.
6) Coach and train the company’s local sales teams
7) Conduct effective on farm demonstrations in line with Company’s best practice, ensure the results are subjected to cost – benefit analysis and collects all demonstration results; having made systematic analyze, to share with local and regional sales and agronomic teams.
8) Demonstrate sufficient knowledge on soil, crops, soils and leaf analyses interpretation and nutrient recommendation
9) In conjunction with local R&D organizations, conducts trials to establish new information on the effectiveness or use of Company’s products.
Requirement
1) Bachelor of Science in Agronomy
Expereince
1) Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Agronomist in a commercial environment
