To support our operations in Southern Highlands Zone, we are looking for a

Distribution Officer
Location: Mbeya, TanzaniaFull-time, indeterminate, as soon as possible

The MobiShop Distribution Officer is responsible for the organisation of systems and components distribution between the hubs. This involves the planning and monitoring of the transport of goods as well as proper transport data administration and management.

Activities:

 Organize, schedule and monitor hub distributions according to orders and/or inventory levels; prioritize deliveries considering stock shortages, sales forecasts/needs; combine deliveries where possible
 Administer delivery notes / hard copies and digital transport data in the database; ensure physical and digital compliance of transported goods / items
 Organize the delivery schedules for the Delivery Officer; plan safe journeys considering time and distances
 Supervise loading and offloading of deliveries
 Monitor reverse transports from selling points.

Our requirements:

 University degree and relevant working experience in the area of distribution, transport or logistics
 Proficient in spread sheet and database applications such as DMS Logistics
 Comfortable with quantitative analysis
 Excellent time management and organisational skills
 Fluency in CO specific language and English
