CAMRIS International is seeking an Economist for an upcoming indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide support services to improve data-driven decision making, planning, and implementation for USAID/Tanzania and its implementing partners and local partners, including the National Bureau for Statistics and other Tanzanian institutions.
Note: This position is contingent on contract award.
Assist with the design, planning, and implementation of the evaluation throughout the project’s three phases.
Liaise with USAID staff, implementing partners, and other project stakeholders.
Ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
Provide staff with data analysis training.
Mentor junior staff.
PhD in economics, international development, social science, or a related field.
At least 10+ years of professional experience and an understanding of issues related to sustainable economic development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, supervision, and management skills.
Ability to work with and lead diverse teams.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili is required.
East Africa experience is considered a plus.
Experience with USAID is preferred.
