- Supervising the diarizing of all tour bookings (confirmed or unconfirmed) and confirming all tour assignments.
Supervising the transportation function including maintenance Manager & Drivers.
Managing the entire fleet chart and communicating with the work shop
department regarding daily departures and arrivals of the vehicles.
Assisting with the daily assignment of all tour guides. This means
briefing the tour guides thoroughly on upcoming safari. Additionally,
safari imprest are closed with checking of park fees and other
documents.
Carrying accounting function
for the company and acting as liaison with the general manager to ensure
accurate and timely reporting. This includes file closing and proper
reporting of each vehicle cost to the general manager.
Ensure that the tour guides are aware of their safari in advance and briefing them thoroughly about their safari.
Handling emergencies :: Solving problems when safari guides on safari.
Ensure driver (s) is properly informed of tour route.
Check to see that all equipment on vehicle hired is working properly before assigning vehicle for safari.
Written excel sheet report after every safari to be presented to the general manager.
Monthly reports to be presented to the general manager.
Solicit and record feedback (including testimonials) on the tour from
participants, including scanning evaluation reports to the general
manager.
Detailed communication with general manager regarding drivers, passengers and other work related issues.
Ensure that any promised or requested follow-up information or activity is properly documented and delivered in good time.
Responsible to ensure correct amounts of cash allowances and imprest is given to the drivers before safari.
Maintaining the vehicles Register and ensuring the company's vehicles are adequately insured and licensed.
Supervising and recording the departure and return of all tours.
