CAMRIS International is seeking an IT Database Manager for an upcoming indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide support services to improve data-driven decision making, planning, and implementation for USAID/Tanzania and its implementing partners and local partners, including the National Bureau for Statistics and other Tanzanian institutions.

Note: This position is contingent on contract award.

Support database users by identifying and solving all database issues as they arise.
Manage database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
Prepare users by conducting training, providing information, and resolving problems.
Create and update database protocols on a regular basis.
Monitor database efficiency and take appropriate actions as needed.
Communicate project status and related application documentation as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
Knowledge of data security.
Experience with USAID-funded monitoring and evaluation programs is highly desirable.
Experience working in Tanzania is highly desired.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in English is required.
Kiswahili language skills are required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to juggle multiple tasks.
