Description
We are seeking an
instructor to lead groups in our popular music program, a unique music
oriented class for babies, toddlers, kids and their caregivers.
Ideal candidates have a background in related areas and great classroom
presence: BIG energy, animation and an expressive performance side, well-balanced with a solid understanding of infant and toddler behaviour and development.
About the Position:
The Instructor is responsible for leading 1 hour -long classes for children, and their parents or caregivers.
Critical Success Factors:
Guitar/Piano playing is a must.
Comfortable teaching children and adults in a group/class setting
Comfortable singing in front of and leading a group in song and dance
Enthusiastic and upbeat personality a must!
Excellent organization and communication skills
Ability to keep both parents and children engaged in classroom activities
Music Teaching: 2 years
Working with kids: 1 year
Guitar/Piano Playing: 2 years
