In servicing the client Bravo Logistics (T) Ltd IS In need of excellent, hands on, multi- skilled Key Account Manager. The role requires a high level of expertise with excellent customer service skills in dealing with
customers. It is a varied and exciting role of serving a multicultural organisation. Candidates must be assertive and confident with good communication skills and must be prepared to work extra hours as our client operate in different areas worldwide with different time zone.
Main duties: plan and coordinate the international movements of products as per customer's requirement and maintain good relationship with client. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing the daily client activities ensuring that client needs and expectations are met.
Job description
• Manage export bookings with shipping line, advice customer on vessel time schedules and documentation deadline. Ensure shipping details are prepared and cargo is legally for export and complaint with customs requirements
• Responsible for export file opening, booking, receiving shipping instructions and documentation processing through shipping lines and through Customs Tancis system
• Responsible for maintaining a positive client relationship through timely and good communication and involvement in client problem solutions
• Receiving positions of shipments from cargo pick up, documentation and port operations and ensure cargo is shipped on board as per client instruction. Transmit timely daily tracking report to customer
• Responsible for timely third party charges in order to meet vessel schedules • Arranging for container collection/ deliveries and be able to liaise successfully with agents/haulers/ shipping line and customers
• Manage deadlines, difficult situations negotiate to meet deadline
• Maintain good relationship with other stakeholders like shipping lines, terminals and lCD's
• Responsible for inputting all booking details onto the in-house system and monitor expenditure for each shipment.
• Ensure all expenditure are properly authorized and vetted by finance function in accordance with approval procedure and authority limit
• Maintain records for accounting purposes in accordance with the company procedures including the checking of all contractors invoices
Qualifications
• A degree in Sales & marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management, transport and logistics management from reputable university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Strong customer care skills
• Fluency. in English and Kiswahili, both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize, plan ahead and work with different time zone
• Accurate filing skills
• Competency in computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
• A valid Tanzania driver's license.
• Knowledge on ISO certification standards will be an added' advantage
