VACANCY: SENIOR SUPERVISOR PROCESSING & PACKING (Reporting to Plant Manager)
East West Seed has set out an ambitious growth strategy to expand our leading position in the vegetable seed industry in Tanzania. As part of our expansion we are developing a new line of packaging- and treatment facilities in our new plant in Moshi Town. We welcome experienced professionals from the packaging industry to become part of our highly successful team.
Candidate Profile
Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree in Seed Technology, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Minimum 2-4 years experience in packaging industry, preferably seed, food, animal feed, pharma or similar
Excellent knowledge on packaging machinery, automation, and packaging material
Expert in packaging planning/job scheduling in complex, dynamic environment of multiple products and SKU’s
Good understanding of industry/factory pollution norms, safety, weight and measures, labeling and marking
ERP experience (SAP, ABS, or similar) will be a value addition
Experience with Kaizen and lean manufacturing also advantageous
High ambition level with passion for innovation and automation.
