National Housing Corporation (NHC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified, dynamic and good team player to fill the position of TECHNICAL AUDITOR in its internal Audit Unit

JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL AUDITOR (Ref. No. TA/NHC/1)
The Technical Auditor reports to the Principal Internal Auditor and has an overall responsibility for
technical audit section and to assist the Principal

Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:

The expected of a technical audit is a factual report with regard to the following technical aspects of project implementation:

• The steady execution of the works carried out under the projects, together with the associated supervision
• The sound organization of the works
• The quality of the works carried out, in conformity with the contract (s) Technical Specifications and in accordance with the best practice in the sector
• The project expenditures are justified and were foreseen in the project budget
• The sound management of the project, to ensure that each party duly meets its contractual obligations and to mitigate the risk of claims litigation and/or dispute.
• The project is implemented within budget allocation and completed within the contractual period of performance
• The auditor shall report any anomaly, error or risk that could affect these objectives and make the appropriate recommendations to prevents or remedy them
• The auditor is expected to purpose, at all stages of his assignment corrective measures that could affect positively the quality of the works and to inform as soon as possible the contracting Authority ay anomalies detected

Qualification and Experience
• The applicant should possess a Degree in Building economics or its equivalent with at least 1 year relevant work experience in Technical Auditing or has worked as a consultant in the construction industry
• She/he should have the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of team, take a proactive approach to identifying, applying and communicating new technical knowledge and auditing findings 
• She/he must have good analytical and enquiring of mind together with high level of written and verbal communication skills

US Embassy is seeking individuals for the position of Procurement Agent at the United Stated Agency for International Development (USAID). This is a full time Personal Services contract position. He/She also assist the various offices of the USAID/Tanzania Mission: Health, Economic Growth, Democracy Rights and Governance and Education. The incumbent initiates procurement actions including research for appropriate sources of supplies, keeping in view the cost, quality and specifications desired by the requesting office, determine estimates probable costs & identity applicable fiscal accounts
