Job Description

Ramsun Trading is a new startup focused on wholesaling and distributionof FMCG goods to both wholesalers and retailers. Ramsun is looking for an experienced salesman who knows where the customers are and has the ability to quickly introduce products into the market and increase sales.


Duties and Responsibilities

-          Marketing Ramsun and its products
-          Preparing and submitting daily sales report
-          Reporting to the owner
-          Depositing daily cash collections at the bank
-          Make sure all operation obstacles are sorted out and where necessary reported to the management
-          Carry on daily sales of our items to customer points of sales such as retail shops and meet daily sales target.
-          Take order and deliver items to customers as per customer requests
-          Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via physical visits and telephone calls
-          Gathering market and customer information;
-          Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
-          Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
-          Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders;
-          Checking the quantities of goods on display and in stock;
-          Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system;
-          Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
-          Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
-          Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;
-          Feeding future buying trends back to Manager;
-          Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
-          Sales executives are generally expected to look professional and smart, particularly when liaising with clients.




Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

-          At least one year experience in Wholesale/Retail of FMCG products
-          Ability to communicate in English and Kiswahili both oral and written
-          Ability to analyze daily reports
-          Aggressive and ability to push more sales every day
-          Ability to work with minimum supervision
-          Team player and Social person

-          Diploma in sales will be an added advantage
-          A positive, confident and determined approach;
-          Ability and desire to sell

Renumeration

-          Monthly salary bases of attain target and commission on top of each item above the daily sales target 
-          Work on a commission-only basis is also available, which means working without a basic salary and having an income based entirely on sales.
-          Commissions paid on weekly basis or monthly basis as per agreement
