Description
The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of water and energy solutions in the region. The Group is based in Kenya and operates through a network of local branches and regional subsidiaries in Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda and South Sudan. The company has a complement of over 600 highly trained and professional staff and seeks a person who meets the criteria detailed below to fill the role of Business Systems Manager. The holder of the position will spearhead innovation and roll-out technology solutions across the Group in collaboration with the ICT department and the respective business units.
Measure and ensure adoption and utilization of rolled out technology.
Participate in the identification of technology gaps and propose solutions.
Manage relationships with technology vendors.
Lead project implementation task forces and coordinate stakeholder collaboration.
Identify and manage business risks related to projects undertaken.
Maintain detailed system documentation.
Conduct periodic user satisfaction surveys and address issues raised.
Qualifications
Relevant Degree in ICT or related field with software development qualifications.
Minimum upper 2nd class Hons degree; additional business qualifications advantageous.
At least four years' experience in software development in PHP, MS.NET applications.
Experience in implementing major ICT projects is a key requirement.
Experience with an ERP system including CRM, Business Intelligence tools eg MS Power BI or Jet Enterprise and databases eg MS SQL or MYSQL will be essential.
