Job Description

Jumia Jobs Tanzania is currently recruiting an intern for a period of 3 months starting in July :

- Generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content across all accounts that builds meaningful connections and that encourages community members to take action
- Executing the company’s social media strategy through platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
- Monitoring, moderating and responding to users with a view to building brand advocacy and customer warmth.
- Working closely with other units such as sales and content.

- Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
- Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”.
- Capturing and analysing campaign and social media metrics, making recommendations after deriving several insights.
- Managing the delivery of campaigns and projects to time and budget adhering to team and unit processes.
- Advocating for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
- Supporting broader public relations for the company such as in: newspaper, radio, Medias, blog, and other relevant sources.

Position Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or equivalent qualifications to relevant field
- At least ONE quality experience
- Highly motivated, analytical, creative and hard working
- Experience and knowledgeable in customer service
- VERY eager to learn new things

- PERFECT ENGLISH IS A MINIMUM + Must have a smartphone (not provided by the company)
