Description
Accounts Clerks (4 Posts): Arusha, Morogoro, Mbeya and Kahama.
Report to:- Zonal Managers at Arusha, Morogoro, Kahama and Mbeya.
Duties and responsibilities:-
1.Conduct daily accounting system data entry operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets/depreciation, general ledger and banking/cash management, expense administration, stock transfers and stock reconciliation.
2.Stock management and audit
3.Account Receivables -debtors –follow up for payment.
4.Preparation of monthly stock reconciliation report
5.Preparation of monthly account receivable and payable reports
6.Provide assistance and support to company personnel
7.Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
8.Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system
9.Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations
10.Perform any task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications/education:-
Holder of diploma and or Advanced Diploma in Accounts or related fields.
MS Office and knowledge of accounting software-QuickBooks
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
Experience:-
The candidates should have a minimum of one year working experience in related field
Remuneration:-
A lucrative package will be offered for the successful candidate commensurate with MATCC scheme of service.
