Licensed Line Engineer POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Line Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparation/Updating of AMP (Aircraft Maintenance Program) for all aircraft
• Preparation/Updating of MCM (Maintenance Control Manual).
• Prepare / Updating of list of all Sbs( Service Bulletin for the respective Aircrafts as 5H-CAT, 5H-CAR, 5H-LAU, 5H-ZAY,5H-ARD)
• Prepare / Updating of list for all ADs (Airworthiness Directives for the respective Aircrafts as 5H-CAT, 5H-CAR, 5H-LAU,5H-ZAY,5H-ARD)
• Preparation/Updating of MELs (Minimum Equipment List for the respective Aircrafts as 5H-CAT,5H-CAR, 5H-LAU, 5H-ZAY, 5H-ARD)
• Preparation/Updating for Engine Maintenance Manual as directed by the State Authority (TCAA). From Operator Side.
• Preparation / Updating of SIs ( Service Instructions for the Airframe & Engine for 5H-CAT, 5H-CAR, 5H-LAU, 5H-ZAY, 5H-ARD )
• Preparation/ Updating of SLs (Service Letters for the Airframe & Engine for 5H-CAT, 5H-CAR, 5H-LAU,5H-ZAY)
• Ensure that Mandatory Modification has been applicable if any, which is being directed by the State Authority for the respective aircraft.
• Being as Quality Manager acceptable by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority, to monitor the compliance with, and adequacy of, procedure required to ensure safe operational practices and airworthy aircraft.
• Being as Quality Manager, acceptable by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority, prepare/ updating of Quality Manual, Aircraft Flight Manual (POH, Pilot Operating Handbook).
• Updating of Garmin Software through our AMO.
• Solve all maintenance related issues with AMO, wherever the financial things come bring the issues to the senior management.
• On any maintenance related issues directly responsible to TCAA being as Quality Manager.
• Close look over technical logbook entries about Hours , Fuel upliftment,
• Scrutinize the fuel receipt in comparison with logbook entries.
• All the work to remain validates the AOC (Air Operator Certificate), laisioning with TCAA.
• Prepare /updating of IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog) which is being recognized by the Aircraft Manufacturer / State Regulatory Authority.
• Ensure procurement of Spare parts from the approved /authorized source (vendor) which is recognized by the (ICAO/ state regulatory authority)
• Report to my senior management on any maintenance document related issues.
• Tracking of Fuel Upliftment.
REQUIRED:
==AIRFRAME AND ENGINE RATING on the license
==Work experience on Caravans and PT6 engines
==AT LEAST 3 years work experience (unless you have worked before with a variety of turbine engines and turbine engined aircrafts for AT LEAST 5 years - all with certification)
OR
==experience as a quality controller or an inspector for a maintenance organization
