INSTITUTION SHORT PROFILE
The college was established in 1998 as IQRA-Computer Training Center and with certificate of number 133350, and business License number 01329014 issued by Mwanza city council, with a certificate for taxpayer identification number 104-996-914 issued by Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA). In 2009 the college changed its name from IQRA –Computer t raining
to IQRA COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.
In 2013, we found that the two campuses that we had were not meeting NACTE standards criteria that made us shift to our new campus at Mabatini area, Nyakato Road near Camel Oil Station.
IQRA COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is a registered private college located in Mwanza City. The college is registered by VETA having certificate of registration number VET/MZA/PR/2012/C/012 and NACTE with FULL registration number BMG/041. In 2009 the college changed its name from IQRA –COMPUTER TRAINNING LTD to IQRA COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY in the year 2010. The overall objective of the college is to participate in provision and promotion of Business education and information Technology throughout Tanzania.
The college has favorable building, teaching and learning materials to start with and is intending to increase the number of infrastructure as
number of student’s increases..
