ADD INTERNATIONAL: TANZANIA COUNTRY DIRECTOR
ADD International fights for independence, equality and opportunity for disabled people living in poverty in Africa and Asia. With 30 years of experience working with Disabled People’s Organisations, we challenge the barriers and negative attitudes that limit opportunities for disabled people within their families, communities and wider society.
We partner with non-governmental organisations and government ministries to scale up best practice to create sustainable change.
We are now seeking an outstanding candidate, who has extensive international development
experienceand a passion and commitment to human rights, to lead our team in Tanzania.
A dynamic leader, with sound management credentials, you will lead the delivery of our existing work in inclusive education and develop new partnerships and programmes. As a member of our global strategic leadership team, you will also work closely with senior colleagues around the world to help take the work of ADD International from strength to strength.
So, if you want to help secure equality for Tanzania’s 6.7 million people with disabilities, go towww.add.org.uk/jobs for more information and instructions on how to apply.
Disabled people are particularly encouraged to apply. We are ideally looking for a Tanzanian national but will accept applications from East African nationals. Closing date 0900 East African time on Tuesday 6 September.
