Description CBP and UNICEF are looking for one qualified candidate to fill the position of Technical Coordinator, Details Children's Book Project for Tanzania (CSP) works in partnership with UNICEF to implement literacy programme in Mbeya, Njombe and Songwe. CBP and UNICEF are looking for one qualified candidate to fill the position of Technical Coordinator, for the period of 12 Months September 2016 to August 2017. Position: Technical Coordinator Location: Dar es salaam Reporting to: Executive Secretary, CBP Overall purpose of the position; Coordinates preparation and implementation of literacy programme in Mbeya, Njombe and Songwe Coordinate resource production and dissemination in schools Participate in best book selection Prepare activity reports on book production and dissemination to school Liaise with CSP on all matters concerning CSP activities under UNICEF Coordinate the collection of quality monitoring data, analysis and reporting regularly Prepare monthly activity reports for CSP Coordinate renovation of classrooms placement of gussets and shelves Other duties as assigned by CSP and UNICEF Qualification A minimum of a first degree in social sciences Experience in monitoring matters related to literacy Computer Literacy in Microsoft word, Excel and Access Fluent in both spoken and writing English and Kiswahili Experience working with NGOs and or donor funded programmes is an added advantage Demonstrated skills in report writing
