Job Title: Business Development Officer
Reports To: Managing Director.
JOB OBJECTIVE:
To ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Marketing Department by developing clients’ database and conduct head hunting, to ensure that the expected sales targets are met according to Company’s policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage in market research in order to identify new opportunities for business.
• Develop and maintain the market agents.
• Explain to potential customers about the various benefits offered by company products or services; following them up so as to close the business deals.
• Keep good relationship with clients, and resolve the problem customers faced, dealing with customers' complaints promptly, and collect market
information.
• Feedback and handle the information of clients.
• Analyze the information of clients and market, and forecast market trends.
• Support work of interview schedule arrangements, follow up for feedbacks, providing of invoices, payment collection, receipts, accountings checking, etc.
• Develop business proposals for existing and new customers.
• Develop innovative strategies for retaining clients; this includes undertaking interviews in order to get feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Corporate personality.
• Possess high convincing power.
• Committed and hard worker.
• Possess good communications and analytical skills – English and Swahili
• Good manager tasks.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain records and documentation pertaining to work force.
• Problem solving skills.
• Computer Literacy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Possess Bachelor degree from a recognized University.
